Resident engineering:The resident engineer is the needed link between our customer and the producer of the vehicle/ or specific parts. An efficient cooperation between development and production - especially with great distances between - can only be reached, when the resident engineer is residing on-site to successfully interact within the manufacturing process. Occurring issues in the areas of design, assembly and quality are assessed together and forwarded to the responsible department. Furthermore the resident engineer is the contact person for setting up deadlines as well as for commercial tasks. The resident engineer is also the main contact at the customers site attending all major meetings. To fulfill his functions the resident engineer has to be granted with certain competences to ensure an optimal cooperation. |
