Our component responsibles have a similar field of activity like the resident engineer, in addition they have to take care of the functions of the part and/or have the duty to report to the responsible system developer. The component responsible is what we consider the "classic engineer". He has to be experienced in tooling, in quality and design as well as in logistics and prototyping. No one else knows more about the part and their function than he does.
